Good news!

In a word, Beck and Ben have inspired me. Me and Beck made a solemn oath a few weeks back to become more excellent bloggers, and while she has surged ahead and made impressive headway on that goal, I'm left behind to spit the gravel and dust that she's left in her wake.

So, here it goes: I am highly cultured.

Of course, you all knew this already if you remember my post about my friends from Peru and Indonesia and the like, but today I was advanced into a whole new level of sophistication. That's right - I ate cilantro. On purpose.

My roomie, Suzy, LOVES cilatro. She buys little bunches of it every week and puts it in a cup of water to make it last. I dump it all over our fridge on an almost daily basis. Anyway, today I was preparing my customary lunch of a turkey and cheese sandwich with honey mustard when I spied it edging toward the end of the fridge shelf. I snatched it up and put a whole handful on my sandwich. It was delicious. And grassy.

  1. Dude! Glozell is gross! She's hacking all over her counter! P.S. Cilantro is amazing. Almost as good as basil. :) P.P.S. I don't buy cilantro every week...it lasts a while, I guess! No, please don't go throw up like Glozell. haha. Love you!
